They influence their identity; their objects & tokens carry the history of the places they have called home. The structure of our modern cities are enriched by the innumerable cultures they've experienced.

Daera Life is a humble attempt to blend cultures and build a world that's imaginative and dependable.
An attempt to crack open a window to the future, with strong design sensibilities rooted in the past. 
Through objects, art, and tangible typographies, we wish to pour life into our inanimate offerings.
We aspire to gather the scattered cultural history of these deras, that only exist in memory with what is real today. 

Daera Life is an amalgamtation of design curiosity & community. Based out of New Delhi, India our collections are a subtle nod to the immersion of cultural narratives in global design and post-modern aesthetics. Founded by Jannat Madhok & Sharon Sethi. Daera Life began as an interior design firm that evolved into a passion for furniture & objects. Today, everything under the Daera brand name is manufactured in-house.

What we do today influences how we live tomorrow. We, therefore, strive to use more ethical ingredients, source from more environmentally friendly suppliers and meticulously test all of our products. We only sell products that are both long-lasting and sourced responsibly. We source the teak from sustainably managed plantations in Madhya Pradesh, and the cotton upholstery is organic and handwoven. All our artwork is painted with non-toxic, lead-free alternatives. We continually evaluate our ecological impact and plan for a more environmentally responsible future.
